Full Text 2011 ICD-9-CM Codes Posted On HCC University

  1. Hi Stacey, thanks for all the great info and hard work you have put into making our jobs easier!!!

    One thing I was thinking about was a BLOG regarding a few of the most common misused codes for office visits. For example, CVA wouldnt be used for office visit, unless it actually happened in the MD office or septicemia etc. OR even some common codes that we just dont code enough of like "long term use of insuline".

    Just a thought. :)

  2. Thanks for the comment (and the idea), Debbie. You're right, there are some codes that really shouldn't be submitted in a physician office setting. I'll work on putting a blog posting together on these two topics.
